How to Make Tempeh

Prepare as much as 1 kg of soya beans.
And as much as 2 grams of yeast tempeh.
Rinse soybeans and soak for 24 hours.
After soaking for 24 hours, soybeans bloom as it looks like the picture above this.
Begin wringing soybeans to husk off.


Once clean, pour the soy beans into the pot and give enough water. Boiled soy beansfor about 30 minutes. During the boiled soy beans will appear white froth like the picture above this.
After boiling for 30 minutes, remove the remaining water in the pot. Then, put the panback to the residence containing soybeans above the stove. Stir, not to scorch. This process is carried out to dry soybeans. Do not be too long - because nuts burn easily.
Pour the soy beans into soy bean container that makes it easy to cool.
Once cool, sprinkle the yeast as much as 2 grams tempeh and stir well.
Prepare plastic with a size according to taste. Enter the soybeans into the plastic to a thickness of approximately 2-3 cm.
Close the plastic: it can use the way like the above picture with the candle.
Then the holes in the plastic that has contained soybeans with a knife - about 8 holesfor each side of the upper and lower side.
Save the tempeh in the cabinet (picture above uses a kitchen cupboard). Alas that isused to store refrigerator shelves that fouled the bottom, so there is air circulation. Let stand for about 36 hours.
Caution: According to the experience of a friend, for a wander in countries experiencing cold temperatures, sometimes tempeh wrapped in a towel, so thatwarmer before input into the closet.
                                                After 36 hours, tempeh is ready to be processed.
